WITH REGARD TO THE TIME ON THE ENTRY FORMS FOR THE ABOVE GALA,   I HAVE TO INFORM YOU THAT  THE  POOL  HAS ASKED  NASCH  TO BRING FORWARD THE START TIME OF THE GALA.

WE WILL NOW BE MEETING AT 12.00pm  AND   STARTING  THE GALA AT  12.30pm.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EVERYBODY  IS INFORMED OF THE CHANGE.

The winner of the Tour De France 2017 was Team Sky. Congratulations to Pete Carey who won our sweepstake. Thank you to everyone who bought sweepstake tickets, £11 was raised for club funds.

Congratulations to Leanne Gardner who swam 287m in a 10 minute stamilna test on 25th August.

Attached are copies of the entries for the NASCH and Tamworth Galas. Please notify Sheila if there are any changes. Lisa Haydon has not yet confirmed availability for the NASCH Finals and Heidi Garcha is the named reserve for this place if needed.

Swimmer’s entry 2017

Congratulations to the following swimmers who have been busy getting awards over the holiday period:

On 28th July, Daniel Hodge swam 400m to complete his Bronze Challenge. Gurvinder Garcha (333m), Phoebe Tully (339m) and William Newton (386m) all improved distance in their 10 minute tests for new certificates.

On 4th August, Aidan Tully swam 400m to complete his Bronze Challenge and also gained a new certificate for his 10 minute times swim (213m).
