Here are the gala results from the Sprint Galas. (Small Pool Gala was held on 25th September 2015 and the Main Pool Gala was held on 2nd October 2015). Congratulations to William Newton, this year’s winner of The Bedworth Lions Club Gala Trophy, for the most improved performance. Well done to all swimmers.

A fantastic effort from all.

Apologies to Peter Markham. His entry times for freestyle and breaststroke were from a block start which is worth about a second – maybe more in Peter’s case as he is very athletic. He won gold in the West Midlands Schools Orienteering Championships before arriving at Tamworth for the gala.

Certificates and thank you gifts were presented to volunteers at the party. Certificates from the Kay Clarke gala were also presented.

Please could all 2014 trophy winners, including the 7 from the NASCH gala please return their trophies for engraving asap after Christmas.

Swimming is on as usual next week 19th December, but there will be no swim on December 26th. The first swim of 2015 will be on 2^nd January. There may be less staff and volunteers on these two dates and so be prepared for a casual swim. Also make sure that all under 8s and non-swimmers have an adult in the water with them.

The raffle raised a fantastic total of £87.50. Thanks to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets.

Here are the results from the Tamworth Gala on 17th May 2014. In summary our team won 7 Bronze Medals, 15 Silver Medals, 7 Gold Medals, 15 Personal Bests and one speeding ticket. Well Done to all of our swimmers!
