Congratulations to Daniel Hodge and his mum Julie, who are the winners of our Grand National Sweepstake Draw. Many thanks to everyone who entered the competition, we raised a total of £20 for club funds. Apologies for the delay in posting the result on the website.
Arrangements During The Easter Holidays

The pool will be closed on Friday 22nd April 2011 (Good Friday) and also the following week on 29th April 2011 (due to the Royal Wedding). Therefore there will be no swimming for 2 weeks. The next club session will be on Friday 6th May 2011 at 6pm.

Grand National Sweepstake 2011

The Grand National is to take place on 9th April 2011.
The draw for a horse for each ticket holder will take place at the club on Friday, 8th April, using the most up to date list available.
The draw will be published on our website www.bedworthdisabledswimming.co.uk
The holder/s of the ticket/s for the first horse to finish will share half of the money from the sale of the tickets. The other half of the money received will be used to top up club funds.

Tamworth Unicorns 35th Annual Gala.

We have been invited to take part in Tamworth Unicorns 35th Annual Gala at The Peaks Leisure Centre, Tamworth on Saturday, 21st May at 5.45pm. This is a sprint gala (25m back, breast and free + 4 x 1 mixed relay). Competitors may enter all events – age groups are Under 17, 17-34 and 35+. There is also a width race (aids permittted). We need to confirm that we wish to take part by 31st March. Names to Sheila please. Gurvinder’s grandad, Kevin, has offered help with transport, if anyone needs a lift.
Club Sprint Gala Dates
March 12th, 2011
Main pool 25th March – 3 lanes will be used for races and the remainder of the pool open as usual
Small pool 1st April – part of the pool will still be available for normal activities)
