Unfortunately, our pool hoist has had to be taken away for repair. This means that for approximately two weeks, we will not have a hoist available for our members to use. . We will keep you updated and let you know when the repair is complete. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The team winners of the Tour de France were Team Saxo-Tinkoff. Sweepstake winners are William Newton from the swimming club and Joyce Burton from Exhall Grange School. Well done to you both and thank you to everyone who bought sweepstake tickets.

Congratulations to Amelie Willson was was awarded her NASCH 5 on 14th June and 10m with buoyancy aids on 21st June.

NASCH Regional Finals Swimming Gala, Saturday 2nd November 1.00pm – 2.15pm
Our club has been selected to provide the JUNIOR BOYS INDIVIDUAL TEAM to represent Region 8 in the National event. Each club in the region will provide part of the team based on previous gala results. Congratulations to the junior boys.

At the Tamworth gala we managed 29 personal best swims – 15 of the 18 swimmers set at least 1. The figure included 3 each from Amy cooper, Bethany Kelly and Karen Finnegan. Marie Clarke broke a 9 year old backstroke pb.
On 31st May, William Newton swam a full length of the small pool using buoyancy aids for a certificate.
Thomas Slater, Amy Cooper and Aaron Peters all set new distances for their 10 minute stamina test.
