MARS MILK FUND
Could I take up a minute of your time and ask you to vote for Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club, by clicking on the link below and helping us to raise some much needed funds please? Mars Milk Fund will be giving away a £1,000 cash award to the club with the highest number of votes at the end of the month. A further ten clubs of the judges choice will be given £300 pounds each, so your vote will really count! Feel free to spread the word! Thank you to everyone who has voted so far. SWIM BRITAIN 
SwimBritain is a series of fun team swimming relays that take place across Britain every September. Anyone can take part – irrespective of fitness levels or swimming ability. Entry to SwimBritain costs £40 per team – thats just £10 each for a team of four.

EASYFUNDRAISING
We have now raised a total of £301.86 for club funds through EasyFundraising. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped us to raise this and break the £300 barrier!

Zac Daffern completed his NASCH 4 AWARD on 25th July.
Thank you to Stan Poacher-Smith for the lovely box of Thorntons chocolates that he presented to all the staff and helpers.
Please could you all start recruiting some help for our gala on Saturday 20th September? Nuneaton have a gala at the Pingles and cannot help us with officiating. Any husbands / wives / schoolfriends / workmates will be guaranteed a job! (Expenses paid).

Club News 4th July 2014

Welcome to our new helper, Ellie-mai Twycross, who is joining us as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Drew O’Connor and Joe Mainwaring were presented with their T shirts for regular attendance.

Welcome back Simon! Simon has finished at Keele University and is waiting for his final results.
Zac Daffern completed his NASCH 3 Badge and Gurvinder Garcha got a Good Work certificate. Well done to both swimmers.

ON YOUR BIKE —– We are running a sweepstake on the tour de france in aid of club funds, if you would like to help support our club and have a bit of fun at the same time . £1 GETS YOU A TEAM TO FOLLOW THROUGH OUT THE RACE . Zac Daffern was awarded his NASCH 2 badge on 6th June.

Mark Day swam 1350 metres in a distance swim. Start earlier and you will get to 1 mile next time Mark!
