Win an iPad2 with Easy Fundraising throughout 2012

(Posted: 1st February 2012 at 5:44pm)

Could you help Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club to raise money whenever you shop online?

It’s very simple – just visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/bedworthdsc/ to register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more. Whenever I buy something, the retailer makes a donation to Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club. They’ve helped other causes raise over £2,000,000 so it really does work.

We would be really grateful if you could use easyfundraising too. It won’t cost you a penny extra to shop through easyfundraising and you can even save money with special offers and voucher codes.

Plus, if you register before 1st March you’ll automatically receive one entry into the February competition to win an Apple iPad 2!

So please make a difference to Bedworth Disabled Swimming Club and take a look at easyfundraising today – http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/bedworthdsc/

Many Thanks!

Sported Grant

(Posted: 28th November 2011 at 4:46pm)

We have been awarded a generous grant to cover our planned expenses for the next year. This grant does not include competition items such as trophies, medals and engraving. It also depends on our continuing to fundraise at the previous level. We would to thank Sported for this kind grant.

News from 25th November 2011

(Posted: 26th November 2011 at 4:07pm)

James Askew presented Treasurer Marie Clarke with a cheque for £1049.83, which was kindly donated by the “Ram Ravers” for the disabled. James has been a member of the Ram Ravers for several years, but it has now sadly closed. As a result, their funds are been given to other clubs who help disabled people. We are very grateful for this donation, and it will be used towards the running costs of the club.

Ashley Campbell-Barker swam 400 metres for his badge and certificate on 25th November 2011.

Thomas Slater swam 1000 metres for a certificate on 25th November 2011.

Emily Robbins was presented with her T-Shirt.

Walter Clarke

(Posted: 29th September 2011 at 1:34pm)

The donations made in memory of Walter Clarke (Kay’s husband and Marie’s dad) have raised a total of £375.00 for the swimming club. Many thanks to everyone who contributed, it is very much appreciated.

A blog post about our stall can be found at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/blog/section/our-good-causes/our-amazing-causes/
